Chiao-Chieh Lin(簡稱 CCL),出生成長於台灣台北,畢業於倫敦藝術大學——中央聖馬丁藝術學院,視覺傳達設計學系。

CCL 的創作語言多元,既來自雙手,也來自嗅覺、觸感與日常的感官互動。從圖像設計到陶藝創作,從芳香療法到構築空間感知,她穿梭於其中,不設限地實踐著創作與生活交織的可能。對她而言,每一種媒材、每一道氣味,都是與內在對話、與世界連結的橋樑。

 

那些看似跳躍不定的嘗試,實則緩緩編織成一條條與人、空間以及時間相連的路徑。對她而言,創作從來不只是表達,而是一種存在的方式,是將內在思想與感受,轉化為可見、可觸的語言。

CCL 自 2021 年開始了一段深層的心靈探索,同時也因興趣使然,接觸到了手捏陶藝。她將 Sat-Chit-Ananda(在・覺・樂)的內在意識狀態,融入吐納與陶土之間。她並非陶藝本科出身,因此作品沒有制式的工法與標準,作品不依設計圖製作、不加繁飾,只有與泥土相處的直覺與感知,保留了更自由、質樸的創作語言。

 

對於CCL而言,這些器皿不只是物件,更是一種存在的痕跡。在這些自然紋理之中, 不求對稱與工整,而是在手指與泥土之間,保留最真實的紋理與氣息,傳遞對生命本質的領悟,也注入一種無聲的溫柔力量。

 

每一件器物,都是與當下的深刻相遇,是內在狀態的映照,也是當下狀態的凝結。 如道家所言:「上善若水」。如水一般柔韌流動,隨著當下心流自然生成,在看似靜默中,蘊含溫柔的力量。柔軟、堅韌、不執著,順其本然成形。 邀請觀者在靜默中,觀看與觸摸,感受無聲的力量,記起回家的線索。

這條路,她走著,不為抵達某個終點。

她靜靜地生活著,靜靜地將此生生而為人的種種感受 —— 細細拾起,輕輕交託。

她說:

 

「萬物從未分離——光與覺知從未離開我們。只是意識走得太遠,讓我們集體遺忘了回家的方向。而我在一次次的捏塑之中,感受陶土仍記得我雙手的語言,就如同我在回家的路上,漸漸想起了自己。」​​​​

Chiao-Chieh Lin (CCL) was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. She graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, with a degree in Visual Communication Design.

CCL’s creative language is diverse, expressed through her hands, her sense of smell, touch, and the sensory interactions of everyday life. From graphic design to ceramic art, from aromatherapy to crafting spatial perception, she moves freely between these realms, exploring the possibilities where creation and life intertwine without limitation. For her, every material, every scent is a bridge — a dialogue with the self and a connection to the world.

What may appear as scattered attempts are, in fact, slowly woven paths linking people, space, and time. For CCL, creation has never been merely a form of expression — it is a way of being, a process of transforming inner thoughts and emotions into a visible, tangible language.

Since 2021, CCL has embarked on a profound journey of inner exploration. Out of pure interest, she also began working with hand-built ceramics. She integrates the inner state of Sat-Chit-Ananda (Being–Consciousness–Bliss) into the breath shared between herself and the clay. Not formally trained in ceramics, her works follow no set techniques or standards. Without sketches or elaborate embellishments, her creations are guided purely by intuition and perception, preserving a freer, more genuine language of making.

To CCL, these vessels are not mere objects; they are traces of existence. In their natural textures, she does not seek symmetry or precision — only the most authentic marks and spirit born from the meeting of fingers and earth. Through these, she conveys her insights into the essence of life and infuses a silent, gentle strength.

Each piece is a profound encounter with the present moment — a reflection of the inner state, a crystallization of the here and now. As Taoism teaches, “The highest good is like water.” Like water, soft yet resilient, flowing with the natural current of the heart’s present state, quietly embodying a gentle strength. Soft, steadfast, unattached — shaped by what is. She invites the viewer to look and to touch in stillness, to feel the silent power, and to remember the clues that lead the way home.

This path she walks, not in pursuit of any destination.

She simply lives quietly, gently gathering and offering the many feelings that come with being human.

She says:

“Everything has never been separate — light and awareness have never left us. It is only that consciousness has wandered so far that we have collectively forgotten the way home. And in each act of shaping clay, I feel the earth remembers the language of my hands, just as I, on my way home, am slowly remembering myself.”
