— Lying Quietly Is Also a Form of Existence
This is a series of observations on everyday still life, focusing on those small, unnoticed corners of life—those overlooked moments that quietly flow within the ordinary.
People tend to fill their time with busyness, yet forget that stillness itself is the pulse of life.
Objects leave traces over time, bearing witness to their own cycles of birth, aging, illness, and death; meanwhile, our thoughts silently transform through coming, abiding, changing, and dissolving.
Thoughts are not absolute truths, and attempts to control are ultimately futile, for all things are in constant flux.
There is no need to seek grand meaning in life. In silent contemplation, one can delicately savor the subtle changes of existence and find a thread of peace and wisdom amid the flow. The practice of life unfolds quietly in walking, standing, sitting, and lying down.
《在工地裡的插座》
有一次在工地裡，我看到一堆被拔掉的插頭，
電線纏來繞去，像是不知道該去哪裡，又沒人來接應。
那一刻我突然覺得很療癒。
我就站在那裡，看它靜靜地躺著。
沒有什麼特別的意義，但它在那裡，就很好。
於是我幫它塗了些顏色。
不是為了改變什麼，只是想陪它待一下。

“The Outlet at the Construction Site”
One time at a construction site,
I saw a bunch of unplugged sockets.
The cords were tangled, looping around—
as if they didn’t know where to go,
and no one was coming to connect them.
Somehow, I found it comforting.
I just stood there, watching it quietly lying on the ground.
It didn’t mean anything in particular,
but the fact that it was there — that was enough.
So I painted it with some color.
Not to change anything,
just to spend a little time with it.
