STATE OF BEING (2026)
This work was created during a period of uncertainty and creative stagnation.
For a long time, CCL had lost her passion for design. After years of design education, she believed that every project needed to carry a fully developed concept and a meaningful purpose.
Without realizing it, she had become unable to simply create.
As she entered the professional world, she spent several years searching for direction while exploring her inner self.
Gradually, she realized that the part of her that once created out of pure curiosity and joy had been overshadowed by expectations, goals, and the constant pressure of what she believed she should be creating.
This piece marks a turning point. For the first time in a long while, she put aside analysis, expectations, and predefined outcomes. With no sketch and no destination in mind, she simply picked up her iPad and allowed intuition—not logic—to guide her hands.
The flowing colors and organic forms have no fixed boundaries or absolute order. They resemble clouds, landscapes, or distant views of the earth, reflecting the continuous movement of life itself.
Colors blend seamlessly into one another, reminding her that nothing exists in isolation; everything is interconnected, constantly influencing and transforming one another.
After years of inner exploration, CCL finally gave herself permission to create without purpose. She rediscovered that creativity is not about proving one's worth, but about responding honestly to one's inner experience. Rather than searching for answers, she found joy in simply creating again.
More than a painting, this work represents a journey back to creativity—and back to herself.
Creation begins with experience. It begins with observation.
